Inderpal Chhabra, MD, FACP

Dr. Inderpal Chhabra earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi, India in 1991. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Brookdale University Medical Center in 1996. Dr. Chhabra is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of The American College of Physicians.
He has extensive experience as a healthcare leader, having served as President of the Queens County Medical Society in 2005, and as President of the Long Island Jewish Medical Center Medical Staff Society. Past roles also include serving as Medical director of a major New York Metro area health plan.
Dr. Chhabra is a proud member of the Medical Society of the State of New York. In addition to Long Island Walk-In Care, he maintains a private practice in internal medicine in New Hyde Park. A resident of New Hyde Park, Dr. Chhabra is active in community affairs. In his spare time, he is an avid pilot of small aircraft.
